Overview:

On May 14, 2011 Nafissatou Diallo, a hotel maid at the Sofitel New York Hotel, alleged Dominique Strauss-Kahn, then International Monetary Fund boss,  sexually assaulted and attempted to rape her. He denied all charges and pleaded not guilty.

Analysis:
